Meet the Trainer: Erin Nielsen
After successful careers in equipment leasing and employee staffing management, Erin Nielsen joined the Tustin Community Foundation as a member of the Board of Directors in 2006 and was appointed Executive Director in 2007.
With over 25 years of management experience, Erin holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Communications and United States History from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has also earned professional certifications in Nonprofit Management, Fundraising Fundamentals, Fundraising Leadership, and Volunteer Management.
A native of Southern California, Erin has dedicated over three decades to community development and volunteerism. Her extensive involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors for the Assistance League Santa Ana, the Junior League of Orange County, Las Campanas, and various Parent-Teacher, youth sports and community organizations. She is deeply engaged with the City of Tustin, collaborating closely with multiple city departments and serving on numerous city committees.
Erin is passionate about her role with the Tustin Community Foundation, striving to foster prosperity and strengthen the greater Tustin area through impactful philanthropy.
